Winter Wetland Walks
Dec 14, 21 & 29; Jan 11, 19 & 25
Take a behind the scenes walk on Two Rivers National
Wildlife Refuge with a refuge ranger. Each walk will highlight a different
refuge division or management unit. Winter Wetland Walk events will highlight
waterfowl and eagles.
Time: 9 a.m.
Cost: Free and open to all ages. Preregistration is not required.
Locations:
Dec 14- Start at Refuge Visitor Center, walk to wetland units
Dec. 21- Start at Refuge Visitor Center, walk to Swan Lake Boat Landing
Dec. 29- Start at Refuge Visitor Center, walk to wetland units
Jan 11- Gilbert Lake: Meet at the Gilbert Lake division parking area one-fourth mile west of the Brussels Ferry on Hwy 100.
Jan 19- Swan Lake: Meet at refuge Visitor Center.
Jan 25- *New* Duncan Farms Trail: Meet at the Refuge overlook road one-half mile past the Brussels Ferry on Hwy 100.
