Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved and volunteer. Local volunteers help with spawning, cultivating the native pollinator garden, and improving trails. The Friends of Northwest Hatcheries also supports education and community events throughout the year. For more information, visit our Get Involved page.

Services

The hatchery provides salmon production to mitigate for fish losses above Grand Coulee Dam, offering harvest opportunities for sport, tribal, and commercial fisheries. We also provide educational programs, daily weather data collection, and maintain public recreation facilities including a boat launch and trails.
