National Trails Day at the Juniper Trail

You are invited to enjoy #NationalTrailsDay with us on June 3rd from 8-11am! We are offering a nature walk on the Juniper Trail to celebrate! Our dedicated volunteers and expert birders John and Vanessa will guide you through scenic views. This is a great way for the whole family to enjoy nature and support your Refuge, so come on out and celebrate!

This guided nature walk is about 2.5 miles, with a 1/4 mile ADA accessible trail and the rest over more rugged terrain and will take about 3 hours to complete. You are always welcome to turn around at any point, but please stick to the trail. Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat, binoculars, and snacks. We hope to see you there! Questions? Call us! 505-248-6453.
