Kanatak Trail Now a National Recreation Trail

Kanatak Trail, 1995

Visitors to Becharof National Wildlife Refuge can connect past and present on the Kanatak Trail, thanks to a partnership between USFWS and the Student Conservation Association, and a Recreational Trails grant administered by the Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation.

Alaska Peninsula and Becharof National Wildlife Refuge Complex

Becharof NWR and two of the three segments of the Alaska Peninsula NWR are managed together as a complex.
