Enjoy the refuge from the comfort of your car! The 7 mile route departs from the Visitor Center entrance road. The red line on the trail map indicates the Wildlife Drive route with some seasonal options. Gates open at sunrise and close one hour prior to sunset.
The Wildlife Drive is only open on specified dates which are weather dependent.
Through the summer the wildlife drive is scheduled to be open each Saturday and Sunday until September 15. It will also be open on Labor Day, September 2.
If the Wildlife Drive is scheduled and you are traveling from a distance, please call to confirm that it is open before you come. 419-898-0014. High wind, flooding, and winter weather can impede travel on the drive.
