Join hatchery staff and Dr. David Meyer, Professor of Geology, Emeritus of University of Cincinnati in identifying the most common fossils found in the Lake Cumberland region! Dr. Meyer's discussion will be geared for those interested in a deep-dive into this regions fossils. Participants may bring their own fossils to be identified following the presentation and explore rock/fossil collections provided by Dr. Meyer! Activities for kids will include fossil story time, stenciling fossil prints, and excavating their very own fossil to take home.
