With 50 percent of the refuge in water, the refuge is a great place for Canoeing and Kayaking! With 23 boat ramps and miles of shoreline, the refuge offers multiple spots to launch for a peaceful paddle. All refuge impoundments and some refuge bays are seasonally closed Nov. 15th – Mar. 15th.
