This program uses art and science to teach students in grades K-12 the value of wetlands and the waterfowl that use them. The program concludes with the annual art contest.

    Visitor Center

    Necedah NWR Visitor Center is open Mon-Sat, 9am-4pm, closed Federal holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Refuge lands are open sunrise-sunset year-round.

    Visitor Center Sign

    The Refuge is located off of Hwy 21, 4 miles west of Necedah, WI or 18 miles east of Tomah, WI. To reach the Visitor Center, turn onto Headquarters Rd and travel 2 miles into the interior of the Refuge.
