Wildlife Drive Re-opening
June 1st - Sept. 30th
Join the thousands that will enter the gates of the Wildlife Drive this season.
Details
Built in 2010, the 6.5-mile, self-guided, one-way auto route meanders past forests, grasslands, marshes, open water pools, and the Shiawassee River. At 15 mph, you will drive through the core of the refuge and witness the management practices used to attract large concentrations of birds and other wildlife. Utilize the observation platforms and parking areas for an even greater chance to experience wildlife observations. Open June 1st – September 30th from sunrise to 1 hour before sunset. Visit our website for updates and closures. Free.
