Audio Auto Tour Route

Audio Auto Tour Route

The Audio Auto Tour Route takes you on an exciting journey through historic and prized portions of the refuge.  Along the way you will visit the old town of Hagerman, wildlife food plots, managed wetlands, prairies, and scenic Lake Texoma. The tour also provides opportunities to use a viewing platform, hike on two maintained trails (Harris Creek and Crow Hill), and visit the Big Mineral Day Use Area.  At each stop our virtual interpreter will tell you about the history of Hagerman, wildlife, habitats, refuge management activities, and the work of many volunteers that help keep this refuge in tip top shape.

Download the audio interpretive files for use on your mobile device here.  After that, feel free to take the auto tour anytime between sunrise and sunset, daily.

Want to use one of our audio interpretive devices instead?  No problem, they are ready to go!  Stop by the Nature Nook in the Visitor Center from 9:00AM - 2:30PM Monday through Saturday or 1:00PM - 3:30PM on Sunday to check one out.  Audio devices must be returned before the Visitor Center closes at 4:00PM Monday through Saturday and 5:00PM on Sunday.
