Updated October 9, 2026

You could be a part of the story at Ruby Lake. With a small staff and short summers, there is a lot of work to be done during the warm months. Many hands make light work!

Volunteering

Volunteers make a big impact at Ruby Lake. If you are able to come for a few days, a week, or for the whole summer we'd love to hear from you. Contact the refuge manager's office at (775) 779-2237 for more information.
