Wildlife Watching
At Rio Mora National Wildlife Refuge and Conservation Area
Visitors can watch wildlife from a distance on refuge on the Juniper Nature Trail, and public roads around and on the refuge. We ask that visitors do not approach bison on refuge, they are wild animals and can be unpredictable. For visitor safety give them a wide berth and do not approach by any means.
