At Rio Mora National Wildlife Refuge and Conservation Area

Picnicking is allowed on the refuge, with leave no trace principles. Littering on the refuge will be in violation of refuge rules and regulations. Our refuge rangers recommend visitors use our picnic area at the Juniper Nature Trail Trailhead area.
