Birding

At Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge

Refuges provide places for birds to nest, rest, feed and breed making them world-renown for their birding opportunities. Best practices for birding include using binoculars, telephoto lens, or a spotting scope.  This provides safe observation of the birds from a distance and without disturbing them.

Refuge visitors enjoy wildlife viewing at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge
