At Des Lacs National Wildlife Refuge
Interpretive displays at Refuge headquarters highlight the early history of the Des Lacs area and showcase key topics such as habitat management, waterfowl production, grassland birds, grebes, sharp‑tailed grouse, and butterflies. Refuge staff also host a variety of special events and educational programs throughout the year to help visitors learn more about the refuge and its wildlife.
