Sewee Center grounds and Nebo trail and Nebo ponds are open to pedestrian access during daylight hours when the front entrance gate is closed. Visitors must park outside the gate, on the paved road shoulder. Please do not block the entrance gate.

Bulls Bay Nature Festival May 18, 2024

The Bulls Bay Nature Festival is a one-day celebration of nature, Gullah Geechee heritage and community.  A family-friendly event for all ages, all activities, trips and tours are free of charge, made possible by festival partners and local sponsors. The celebration includes a wild-life art exposition showcasing local youth, live music, exhibitors, crafts, arts and food vendors. Sally Murphy, acclaimed sea turtle authority and author of "Turning The Tide A Memoir", gives the Keynote "Conservation and Cape Romain: Remembrances and Relevance" at 4:00 pm. A book signing follows Murphy's presentation.
