Fishing at Ouray National Wildlife Refuge

Fishing is permitted along numerous access points on the Green River. Fishing season is in accordance with state regulations. Primary fishing in the Green River is for catfish, smallmouth bass and, occasionally northern pike. The Refuge's facilities for anglers include a boat launch located one mile upstream from the Refuge headquarters and numerous parking areas along the Refuge tour road.
