Deer, squirrel, rabbit, woodcock and waterfowl hunting are allowed subject to state-approved seasons and regulations. Feral hogs may be taken during the archery season. The Centerville unit is in State Deer Area 9 and the East Zone for waterfowl, rabbit and squirrel hunting. The remainder of the refuge is in State Deer Area 7 and the Coastal Zone for waterfowl. State bag limits apply. Feral hogs may also be taken during the archery season.

Airboats, marsh buggies, ATVs and UTVs are not permitted on the refuge. For refuge-specific seasons and regulations download and print the refuge regulations brochure. This brochure serves as the refuge’s free hunting permit and must be signed and carried when hunting on the refuge.
