Youth Conservation Corp staff and Refuge Manager, Jennifer Owen-White, learn about a Whip-tailed lizard found at the refuge. These all-lady lizard species (of the Aspidoscelis genus) from Mexico and the U.S. Southwest manage to produce well-bred offspring without the aid of male fertilization. Watch the Conservation Connect Special Event – National Wildlife Refuge Week Broadcast at: http://nctc.fws.gov/conservationconnect/ to get a mini refuge experience and find out more about this urban refuge.
