Long-necked and slim, the Northern Pintail is a graceful, elegant bird. This dabbling duck can be found in much of the Northern Hemisphere, including the San Joaquin Bay-Delta, although in considerably lower numbers than in the past. Image taken from USFWS Pacific Southwest Region Flickr page.
