Migratory Bird Program Strategic Plan

In 2016, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's Migratory Bird Program undertook an effort to update the 10-year strategy for achieving our mission and vision while maximizing current limited resources, and creating a roadmap to future conservation success.

Goals of the effort were to develop an interim strategic document for the Administrative transition and to begin the dialogue to develop a plan for the next 10 years.

The highly participatory process for developing this document included webinars, meetings, surveys and workshops for USFWS staff and partners. The materials on this page contain more information about the content of the plan and the program's vision and goals.

We sincerely thank all of our partners for their time spent and contributions made to helping develop the strategic plan.
