Edgar Bailey and Nina Faust Oral History Transcript

Edgar Bailey and Nina Faust oral history as conducted by John Cornely. Edgar "Ed" Bailey started with the Fish and Wildlife Service in the mid 1960's. He loved to work in remote places, such as Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge and Cold Bay/Izembek National Wildlife Refuge. He would go to work in the Regional Office for personal reasons, but would continue to do field work in the summer. He found a kindred spirit in Nina Faust, his partner and wife of 45 years, and together they would explore and survey the islands around Alaska. A remembrance of Mr. Bailey's life and career is found at the end of the transcript.
