Picnicking
At Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge
Visitors can find several picnic tables at the Reelfoot NWR Headquarters and Visitor Center. You can bring a blanket and relax anywhere you see fit on the refuge between March 16 and Nov 14th.
Just one mile north of the Visitor Center is the Grassy Island Wildlife Drive. At the end of the Wildlife Drive is a newly reconstructed viewing tower overlooking Reelfoot Lake. Even though this viewing tower does not offer a picnic table or seats, you can bring your own chairs and enjoy your lunch with a gorgeous view!
