At Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge
Experience Reelfoot NWR by boat. You can fish on the refuge, or just enjoy a nice day out on the boat to view the cypress trees and wildlife. We have several boat ramps on the Reelfoot NWR, two at Long Point and one at the end of the Grassy Island Wildlife Drive. You may enjoy the refuge from sunrise to sunset. Below are closure dates for the waters of each refuge unit. Please keep in mind that the boat ramps at Long Point may be difficult to launch from if lake levels are low.
Grassy Island Boat Ramp: Closed November 15 - January 31st
Long Point Boat Ramps: Closed November 15 - March 15th.
