At Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge

Bicycling, including traditional and e-bikes with motors up to 750 watts, is permitted only on roads open to motorized vehicles and trails established specifically for bicycles. Individuals must follow state age and speed requirements when using an e-bike. 

Coming soon! The Crab Orchard Greenway path is currently under construction to allow bicyclists, runners and walkers to travel from Marion to Carbondale. A portion of the trail will go through Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge for visitors to enjoy a scenic and safe route.
