Woman dressed warmly in camouflage and standing in marsh reeds aims a shotgun into the air

Iron River National Fish Hatchery is open for hunting in accordance with Wisconsin hunting regulations. All land is open to hunting except for the areas surrounding hatchery buildings, residences, play areas, roadways and parking lots. By random draw, two youth hunters have the opportunity to hunt deer and turkey during the regular Wisconsin youth seasons and are able to use equipment provided by the hatchery. The turkey hunt is mentored. The hatchery does not provide licenses or special permits. A fall mentored grouse hunt will also be available by random drawing.
