Location: Southern California

Complex Includes:

Hopper Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, Ventura County

Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge, Kern County

Blue Ridge National Wildlife Refuge, Tulare County

Guadalupe Nipomo-Dunes National Wildlife Refuge, San Luis Obispo County

All four refuges were created primarily to protect and recover endangered and threatened species. Including the California condor, Western snowy plover, San Joaquin kit fox and more.
