The refuge has two boardwalks and 5 trails available for public enjoyment and exploration. Refuge trails and boardwalks are open during daylight hours year-round. A trail brochure is available and can be found at most of the refuge kiosks. Hikers are recommended to wear fluorescent orange while in hunt areas during hunting season.
