Urban Boat Builders

Urban Boat Builders is dedicated to empowering youth to succeed in work and life through woodworking and experiential learning. They operate two signature programs – youth apprenticeships and community partnerships. By collaborating with Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, youth engaged in refuge sponsored boat builds, enjoy expanded paddling experiences on community lakes, learn about local water quality issues, visit the refuge and get to know about conservation careers by meeting and interacting with refuge staff.
