Youth Fishing Fun Day

Join us for our annual fun, free, non-competitive fishing event for young folks 15 and under! Our pond provides a safe and easy fishing experience for beginners. Fishing poles and bait are provided, or bring your own. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist youth with fishing tips and fish removal. This is a catch-and-release event, with the exception of invasive species invasive species
An invasive species is any plant or animal that has spread or been introduced into a new area where they are, or could, cause harm to the environment, economy, or human, animal, or plant health. Their unwelcome presence can destroy ecosystems and cost millions of dollars.

You can preregister your child beginning May 1st by calling 410-228-2677, or register the day of the event. All registered youth will receive a free hot dog lunch. The first 100 registered youths will receive a free take-home gift!

The event is held at the pavilion behind Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park. No pets, please!
