Meet Minnesota Valley

Stop by the tent at Old Cedar Avenue to chat with refuge staff, ask that burning question, borrow equipment or enjoy a complimentary treat. Refuge staff will have engaging items to investigate, along with information and maps, binoculars and backpacks available for checkout during this time frame and complimentary snacks.

What to Bring: This event is being held outdoors. Weather appropriate dress is encouraged. In the event of severe weather, please monitor our MeetUp and Facebook pages for a cancellation notice.

Accessibility: Restrooms and water are available at the Old Cedar Avenue pavilion. Tent will be reachable by paved sidewalk. Optional self-guided walks take place on mostly flat ground on paved trails, wooden boardwalks, and natural surface paths. Depending on seasonal trail conditions, natural surface paths may not be suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Very few benches or rest areas exist along the route, though the parking lot is a short distance away and provides a shaded seating area.
