Proposed Rule: Public comment opens through March 4, 2019 for threatened species status for the West Coast Distinct Population Segment of Fisher

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is reopening the comment period on our October 7, 2014, proposed rule to list the West Coast distinct population segment (DPS) of fisher (Pekania pennanti) as a threatened species. The comment period is for 30 days and deadline to submit is March 4, 2019. Comments previously submitted need not be resubmitted as they are already incorporated into the public record and will be fully considered in the final rule. Read the news release here.
