About This Position
Join us for a rewarding Resident Volunteer opportunity at Cape May National Wildlife Refuge, where you’ll dive into a mix of maintenance work, visitor services, and biology, making every day an exciting adventure! You’ll help with grounds and building upkeep, engage in trail maintenance, participate in biological surveys, and assist with visitor education, all while working side-by-side with dedicated Refuge staff and becoming part of our community. When you’re off duty, explore historic Cape May and the beautiful Jersey Shore, with countless attractions within an hour’s reach. The Refuge will provide an RV pad and utility hookups free of charge at our Two Mile Beach Unit in exchange for 20 hour of volunteer work per week. We can’t wait to welcome you to the Cape May family!
