Fish and Wildlife Service Offers More Opportunities for Public Comment on Critical Habitat Packages
In a continuing effort to ensure the public has an adequate opportunity to review several proposals to designate critical habitat throughout Hawaii, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has extended the deadline for public comments for several proposed rules and announced public hearing and meeting dates on several islands.
"We know it is a significant burden on the public to review so many different critical habitat proposed rules, all with differing deadlines," said Paul Henson, field supervisor for the Fish and Wildlife Service
