Aubry Buzek is a public affairs specialist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service based out of Austin, Texas. Since beginning her career with the Service in 2020, Aubry has served as the communications lead for the Service in Texas, providing media relations support and creating compelling written and visual content for both internal and external audiences. Prior to joining the Service, she was a press officer at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and spent more than a decade as a public affairs specialist with the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army Reserve. She has a B.A. in Communications from Texas Lutheran University and an M.A. in Cultural Studies with a Media Studies concentration from Claremont Graduate University. Aubry is a native Texan and passionate advocate for the state’s wild things and wild places, and when she is not at work she can usually be found at the barn with her horse or running on a local park trail.
