    20th annual Kids’ Fishing Rodeo is a success

    July 19, 2017 | 2 minute readOn the morning of June 10, a total of 2,000 nine-inch rainbow and 10 large display rainbow trout and brook trout were released in the creek below the Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery in Tennessee for the 10th annual Kids’ Fishing Rodeo. Held in celebration of National Fishing and Boating Week, the rodeo is open to young people aged 15 and under.     Kids Fishing Rodeo

    Description The Kid’s Fishing Rodeo is open to youth 16 and under. The event will take place rain or shine. Attendees must bring their own fishing gear and bait. Free lunch and prizes will be provided through Friends of the Hatchery. Georgia Sport Fishing regulations apply. For more information call the hatchery at (706) 838-4723 or contact us on facebook.
