    Veterans appreciation fishing rodeo

    On Friday, May 4, Chattahoochee Forest National Fish Hatchery held its sixth annual Veterans Appreciation Fishing Rodeo. More than 150 U.S. military veterans and family members attended the free event. About 2,800 beautiful Rainbow and some Brook Trout were stocked into Rock Creek for the event including a number of fish each averaging three pounds or more.     2019 Catch a smile senior fishing derby

    Description Come out and join us for a fun day of trout fishing at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery! The 12th annual Catch a Smile Senior Fishing Derby is a free fishing event for those 62 years and older. The event includes complimentary lunch and door prize drawing!     33rd annual Catch a Rainbow Kids Fishing Rodeo

    Description What began as a small event in 1986 has now blossomed into one of the largest events of its kind in the country. This year’s 33rd Annual Catch A Rainbow Kids Fishing Derby is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery.     Early childhood educator workshop
