Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery maintained a booth at the 116th Annual Kentucky State Fair. The booth displayed rainbow, brown and brook trout, event flyers, hatchery literature, and educational booklets. More than 600,000 people attended the 10-day fair and had access to the hatchery booth.

The booth was staffed two weekends, Friday through Sunday by hatchery personnel including Biological Aide Makenzie Back, Environmental Education/Outreach Specialist Moria Painter, Administrative Assistant Teresa DeVore and Deputy Project Leader Sheila Kirk. Hatchery volunteer Judy Scott also helped to meet and greet the public at the booth.
