Getting Licensed

Anyone who fishes at a national wildlife refuge or within a wetland management district in the National Wildlife Refuge System must have the appropriate state license(s). In addition, anglers at refuges and within wetland management districts must comply with state fishing seasons and state size, day and possession limits. Licenses and fishing information can be obtained from state fish and game departments. Click state below for more information:
