Event Description: Come join the fun and try your skills at tying knots, baiting, casting, fish painting and more! This fun-filled family event will include: loaner poles, two surf fishing clinics, casting and baiting demonstrations, children’s activities and fun handouts. The first 110 youth receive a free mini tackle box in honor of the 110th Anniversary of the National Wildlife Refuge System. This event is co-sponsored by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Friends of the National Wildlife Refuges of Rhode Island and Quonny Bait and Tackle.
