2015 Water Conditions

Due to a low spring snow melt, and minimal rains throughout the spring and summer. A majority of the wetlands in the Wetland Management District have low water levels.

Overall, depending on summer weather conditions, hunters should find normal to above normal numbers of upland gamebirds this year. Although hunters will notice that compared to year’s past, there is significantly less CRP making the birds and hunting pressure more concentrated.
