The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and Friends of the Savannah Coastal Wildlife Refuges, is hosting the 3rd Annual Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge Kids’ Fishing Day to promote fishing as a family activity, as well as water safety. This rain or shine event is free and open to the public.*

*Pre-registration is required. No on-site registration will be allowed day of the event.

Entry is limited to 80 children.

Rod, reel, bait, tackle and meal provided.

Event takes place at Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge 

RULES

  • Event is open to children ages 5-12.
  • Each child participating must be accompanied by an adult.
  • One adult may accompany no more than three (3) children.
  • Parent or legal guardian must sign a liability release for each child participating in the event.
  • Catch and release of fish is required.
  • No sitting on pier railings.

COMPLETED REGISTRATION FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED AT SAVANNAH NWR OFFICE NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM, FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2019.
