Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge has gone Solar!!
Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge is now operating on Solar Power. The solar panels were installed on the main shop roof located at the refuge heaquarters. The 70 solar power panels installed will handle all the power needs of the refuge. Part of the project also included installing a new metal roof on the shop building.
