Work at Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge
Jobs may open periodically at the Refuge. Keep an eye on USAJobs.gov. All permanent and seasonal federal jobs are posted there. In the entrance screen, indicate that you want to see jobs for Alaska. Visit the site every two weeks or so to see what's new.
Additional positions at the Refuge may be filled through “Local Hire” authority that was established under the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act of 1980 (ANILCA). This authority allows the Refuge to fill certain positions with individuals, who by reason of having lived or worked in or near Alaska public lands, have special knowledge and expertise concerning the natural or cultural resources of that unit. These positions will be announced on our
Home page
as they become available.
