Although there is no admission fee to visit Yazoo NWR, everyone hunting must have an Annual Public Use Permit in addition to state licenses. Additional permitting requirements apply for Limited Draw Hunts. See below for more information!

  • Annual Public Use Permits

TR Complex Annual Public Use Permit (Valid August 1 through July 31 each year)
The TR Complex Annual Public Use Permit process is transitioning to an online only approach this year. TR Complex Annual Public Use Permits are $15 plus a $5 processing fee and must be purchased at https://trcomplex.recaccess.com. First time users purchasing a permit through RecAccess will need to create an account. Once an account is set-up, an Annual Public Use Permit can be purchased directly on the RecAccess website. For all technical support, including password resets, please email support@recaccess.com

Each person 16 years of age and older participating in hunting (including calling and/or videoing) or fishing must possess a valid TR Complex Annual Public Use Permit (paper copy or on your electronic device i.e., phone, iPad, etc). This permit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and is required in order to be eligible to apply for Limited Draw Hunts. The permit must be in your possession whenever hunting or fishing on the Refuge, and acknowledges your understanding of refuge regulations.

  • Limited Draw Hunt Permits

Limited Draw Hunt participants are selected by random computer drawing. Applicants must apply online at the RecAccess website. The purchase of an Annual Public Use Permit is required in order to apply. Selectees will be notified and Limited Draw Permits will be mailed within two weeks after the drawing is complete. This permit is non-transferable and is required to be in your possession while participating in the designated hunt. Hunt participants who do not return the Limited Draw Permits with the requested information upon completion of the hunt will not be allowed to apply for Limited Draw Hunts on TR Complex the following hunt season.
