A CCP is a document that guides the management of our refuges/wildlife management areas for 15 years.
Goals, objectives and strategies are identified to help manage and improve habitat quality, visitor experiences, and partnership opportunities.
The Draft CCP/EA for our Wildlife Management Areas (Butte Sink, Willow Creek-Lurline, and North Central Valley WMAs) is complete, and the public comment period is closed. Public comments are being integrated into the Final CCP, which should be completed early 2016.
These WMAs include both Service-owned lands and private lands that are protected with conservation easements.
