The National Wildlife Refuge System is committed to building partnerships which encourage conservation and protection of our natural and cultural resources. The Whittlesey Creek National Wildlife Refuge is one of five partners at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center. Partners include the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, University of Wisconsin Extension and the Wisconsin Historical Society. Partners work together to provide educational, interpretive and other informational services to the public. Many of the special events coordinated at the Center are a direct result of this partnership effort.
