Hunting, trapping and fishing are considered to be a legitimate, traditional recreational use of renewable natural resources. 

  • Deer Hunting

    Deer 150-118

    Deer hunting is allowed only on one section of the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge complex, Bear Valley National Wildlife Refuge which is located in Southern Oregon.  Hunting tags for this area can be obtained through the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.   • Waterfowl Hunting

    Wood duck 150-118

    Waterfowl hunting on the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge complex is allowed on the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge, Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge, Clear Lake National Wildlife Refuge and Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuges.

    Pheasant 150-118

    Pheasant hunting is very popular and allowed on two Complex refuges.  It is offered on the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge and the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge.
