Participate in the Junior Duck Stamp Contest

JDS BOS - Promo List - 150 x 118The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program (JDS) is a dynamic arts and science curriculum that teaches wetlands and waterfowl conservation to students in kindergarten through high school.  The program incorporates scientific and wildlife management principles into a visual arts curriculum, with participants completing a JDS design as their art contest entry.  Each individual sends their entry into the art contest to the state coordinator.  Click here for more information about entering Louisiana's JDS contest!!  


The Biologist-in-Training Program

This program is made available through the National Fish Hatchery Program and gives ideas for exploring nature... Especially the wet side!  Children can discover more about aquatic habitats through a fun and educational program using the materials provided below.
