Compatibility Determinations for Review: St. Croix Wetland Management District (WMD)

St. Croix WMD Haying or Ensilage

St. Croix WMD Tree Harvesting (Commercial and Non-commercial)

All recreational uses, refuge management economic activities, or other uses of a National Wildlife Refuge or Waterfowl Production Area by a non-National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS) entity are subject to the compatibility process. Each use must be evaluated to determine if it is compatible with the refuge or district purpose as well as the NWRS mission. This process requires a public comment period of 15 days for the public to respond to the proposed Compatibility Determinations.

The Compatibility Determinations are available in the district headquarters office, as well as on the district websitehttps://www.fws.gov/refuge/st_croix_wmd from April, 9th 2021 through April 23st 2021. You may submit comments in person, via email or surface mail. See the header above for the contact information for the district office. Comments received and agency responses will be included in the final version of these Compatibility Determinations.
